Barcelona is a lovely Spanish town, inspiring and relaxing. It is a major tourist and industrial center of the country, a large port on the Mediterranean sea. The population of Barcelona second only to Madrid. Barcelona area - 100 sq. km If desired, it can cover the eyes. In a small square in Barcelona are all wonderful. I admired her smooth streets and wide intersections. The old and new district of the city overlap with each other. Only Barcelona is divided into 10 districts. The most famous are: the Old town (plus the Gothic quarter) and Eixample. If the first is clear, then Barcelona is a New Barcelona. The area was designed in the 19th century and very quickly settled. In my opinion, it's the landmark of Barcelona, as an old Gothic churches. In fact the Eixample connected the old town and all the numerous towns surrounding Barcelona.
Have you ever been there, guys? Share yours opinions with us?

I haven't visited this beautiful city yet, but I've been heard about it a lot of information, and honestly it was really nice information. My friends have been there, and actually they were nice surprised by Barcelona. If you like sea leisure, and if you like football, then you should visit it anyway.

Barcelona is great!!!!!!!!!!! dreat to visit it once. I know that this city is one of the world's leading tourist, economic, trade fair and cultural centers, and its influence in commerce, education, entertainment, media, fashion, science, and the arts all contribute to its status as one of the world's major global cities. Barcelona was also home to Mies van der Rohe's Barcelona Pavilion. Designed in 1929 for the International Exposition for Germany, it is an iconic building that came to symbolize modern architecture as the embodiment of van der Rohe's aphorisms "less is more" and "God is in the details."  there are a lot of ineresting sights which I'd like ti visit.

Spain is the country I've always been attracted to-its history, culture, people living in it.But Barcelona is standing a little aside,I think,of the other spanish cities.I've never been to it,but I sure hope to finally change it this summer,as we're going on a trip through the whole Europe-we want to see its biggest castles and all that. The things I want to see the most in Barcelona,is its gothic church from the 13th century and the other church from the 14th.There are also many museums there and one of the oldest and best universities of the world. It's going to be definitely interesting! ;)

Barcelona is a wonder city! My friend recently visited this place. And he told that the weather in Barcelona is perfect for vacation — the city is characterized by a Mediterranean climate with sub-Mediterranean influence, which makes it soft and wet winters, warm and dry summer months. Barcelona is located on the Eastern coast of the Iberian Peninsula, therefore, the usual westerly winds, mainly in winter, are the cause of wet climate in many countries of Western Europe, come to Barcelona with low humidity and almost no rain. An area of low atmospheric pressure has an impact on Barcelona (and Catalonia) bringing large storms, particularly in August. Autumn and spring are rainy and damp, and summer and winter is rather dry. It should also be noted that Zapadny Mediterranean climate is the most changeable in the world. For example, October can be very dry and July or February rainy. In any case, the weather in Barcelona is what makes the city very attractive for tourists.

I’ve been to Barcelona twice and my favorite place there is Park Guell. At the entrance to the park there is a main staircase that has a dragon fountain that is made of broken bits of glazed ceramic tile. This leads to the Salon of the Hundred Columns, which was supposed to be a market place. The columns really number only 84 and are Doric in form. The ceiling of the Salon has tiled mosaics with designs on the ceiling. On top of the salon is a public square with a very large undulating bench in the form of a sea serpent that has backrests adorned with the broken bits of glazed tile. The bench was made by the architect Josep Maria Jujol. At the top of the park is the Closed Chapel, which has a large cross on top of it. This place has very good views of the city. The park was declared a Patrimony of Mankind.

I was in Barcellone only once in my life, but I managed to love this city during this time. Barcelona is a magical city and charges with its magic all fountains located in the city. Not by chance the main fountain of Barcelona is called magical. How many desires he performed to tourists who fell in love with Barcelona. And of course you can not forget about the main attraction of Barcelona - the sea. I strongly advise you to visit Barcelona, see the architecture of Gaudi, in these unusual buildings you want to return again and again, they attract to yourself like a magnet. In Barcelona, you can combine beach holidays and sightseeing trips, or you can sit in a cafe in the square and wind up on acrobats, fading figures of people from some kind of fantastic or unusual characters, or you can see incendiary dances, or go to sea on a yacht.

Good evening guys! I like Spain. I think it is sunny, wa The rm and friendly country. I can say that Spain is one of the country where historic architecture is saved. The Barri Gòtic (Catalan for "Gothic Quarter") is the centre of the old city of Barcelona. Many of the buildings date from medieval times, some from as far back as the Roman settlement of Barcelona. Catalan modernista architecture (related to the movement known as Art Nouveau in the rest of Europe) developed between 1885 and 1950 and left an important legacy in Barcelona. Several of these buildings are World Heritage Sites. i think this is great that Barcelona's heart is historic architecture, because not all governments can safe it in their cities.
