Basketball, how to improve the skills?

I have been always greatly interested in basketball. Every time watching those high sporty guys running with a ball and struggling to put it in the basket I caught myself on the mind that I’d love to do the same. Though I am in a good shape, I never tried to play it seriously, on the ground with my friends. I know the rules, but I am a bit embarrassed to look ridiculous, couse I am not really good at it. And what is your attitude to basketball? Do you play it often? If yes, give some tips, how to improve the skills in order to look good when you play in a team?

Basketball, how to improve the skills?

I don't know any practical rules, and tips which could help you in improving your basketball skills, because I don't play it. I have no experience in it. But I am fond of it, I mean - I like watching it on my TV. Perhaps, you just need to practise more, because it is the best way of getting useful experience.

The hobby for basketball

The hobby for basketball usually begins with a ball hit the basket. Do not deprive yourself of this pleasure, learn how to score from under the ring, then from two steps ... But after this it is worth considering what elements to master to become the "right" basketball player. We will not let you get bored - we will not hammer all basketball training sessions with boring stopovers and turns. But in general, you can not do without it, because the proper work of the legs, the habit of standing tight, not getting fat, not making extra steps, quickly and correctly changing the direction of movement is an absolute must for a basketball player. Plus, of course, dribbling and pass.
