boxing is a true sport?

What do you think about boxing?? Do you think that boxing is a true sport? Should it be included in the Olympic Games? Should it be made illegal? For me, boxing is without question a true sport. Boxers are in incredible shape if you want to experiment with that try staying on your toes for 3 minutes while throwing punches. You will without question be very tired, and you don't even have to avoid being punched. Boxing has at least as much if not more strategy than any sport so it is truly both a mental as well as physical. And what do you think?

Precautions ;) ;) ;) ;)
However, to start doing Boxing definitely should be under the supervision of an experienced mentor. The Boxing trainer will deliver the kick correctly, will help avoid injury, will show you how to use Boxing bandage, to keep intact the knuckles. Proceed to self-training is possible only after You master the basic skills and will be confident in training. For working off of blow it is useful to do at home on a Boxing bag or punching bag. Decide what is more important – accuracy or the force of the blow, and on this basis choose the appropriate sports equipment for the home.

boxing is a true sport?

I like boxing a lot. I like to watch it. I think that there is no reason for making it illegal. Yes, it causes injuries. But every sport causes injuries, except chess, actually)))))))) So, forbidding boxing is the same as forbidding football or swimming. It does not mean that I would ever let someone punch me. But if people do it, building sportive career in the sphere of boxing, this person knows what the consequences of this sport are. They know about it and they are ready to risk, so everythig is okay. If you don't like it, don't do it and don't watch boxing at all.

boxing is a true sport?

I thought I wanted to be a boxer because I thought I liked to fight but I did not want to go to jail just because I beat someone up. After joining a gym I found out that boxing was more than just beating on someone it required a lot of discipline which I needed it taught me to respect others which I did not it gave me the opportunity to see what other people were made of. Now if you ask me this same question next week I will give you a different answer. The main thing I like about the sport is the competitiveness of it one on one no excuses baby and when you win you get all the attention and glory. I like being called champ. When I was young I did not like it at all I wanted people to know that Icould do more than box as I have goten older I love it.

Diseases of the nervous system
Numerous blows to the head can cause a variety of brain injuries and fertile ground for the emergence of various diseases of the nervous system. So the best counter to this problem can only be painstaking work on the head protection and adequate assessment of their capabilities a boxer and his coach. The so-called lower skill levels with aging boxer, when you see the new ring very dangerous opponents, the boxer is better to finish sport career at its peak, or to go in coaches.
Statistics :) :) :)
According to research by sports analysts, Boxing is not the most dangerous of sports. The likelihood of injury in Boxing is quite small (approximately one major trauma of six hundred possible) and is behind dozens of traumatic, below the equestrian sport and Golf.

Boxing is for sure a real sport. Its all about skill and talent you need alot of skill to peform great at the highest level. You need to have great physical ability as well as mental ability. You need to have good stamina, awareness, reflexes, and patience, remember its technically not fighting, your opponent doesnt need to be knocked down for you to win the fight its about ability. You also need to understand your opponent, his weaknesses and his strengths so you can capitalise and exploit where he lacks. Also its also about conserving energy, and punching because you need a plan on how many punches to throw, when to throw, counter punching, and defensive strategies. So boxing is a sport, and also much more as it is a grand money phenomena, analysed and performed by the most intelligent and powerful people in the world. And personally for me its the greatest sport aswell!!

But most sports are - football has serious injuries and a number of players suffering from brain damage or paralysis, baseball has instances where people can get hit with a 90mph fastball, hockey has players with more concussions than teeth, and even soccer has many instances of brain damage because of the threat of getting kicked in the head if you fall and running up to bounce a ball off of your head.

I do not like boxing. this is too hard for me to watch how two people fight on the ring. I even cannot say that this is the kind of sport as this is too cruel. I think that this type of sport encourages people to fight and this makes children who like to watch the TV more cruel. They will see the fight and the blood ... Maybe I just do not get it.
