I would add that boxing is a sport that shows you who you are.

There is no one to rely on save yourself. No excuses, nowhere to hide, no equipment, you are alone and practically naked making a stand against a man who is trained to commit mayhem on your person. You have to factor in so many variables in every second and at the same time keep in mind that your resources are finite... you're going to get tired. And then you have to fight tired. That's where the "who you are" part kicks in -if you get hurt you may not have the capability to continue so it may be a foregone conclusion; but to fight through fatigue and panic... that is the place where mirrors are.

I think it's 10,000x more entertaining than all the MMA crap that got popular. I get absolutely bored watching UFC stuff. They're like a couple minutes of cool action, then it always devolves into boring grappling shit in which we see two dudes just squirming around on the floor. But boxing...boxing just gets right to the point. So out of all combative sports to watch, I feel like its the best option. It looked like that to me too at first, but recently I began training wrestling and bjj and it makes me notice that they're actually doing things and thinking stuff through rather than just rolling around.

I like boxing :P :P :P The pros of boxing :P :P :P
Builds character, develops endurance, desire to win, self discipline.
Trains the body: the muscles become stronger, joints flexible, improves stretching.
Increased immunity. :P :P :P :P
Improves coordination, reaction, agility, ease of movement.
The basics of a healthy lifestyle, laid in childhood, remain for years, distracting from addiction to bad habits and bad influence of the street.
The ability to stand up for themselves. For good reason hand technique in this sport is considered the most effective.

thought what to do with their restless energy and the time to occupy, but to make it useful. My dad's friend was( Boxing coach)here and decided to send me to boxing) to learn self-defence so to speak)the classes were always very interesting, always learn something new and constantly taught new techniques, protection, blocks. My box has developed a character, for example, persistence in everything and always, stress ( there were many situations in training), patience, the will ( there were large loads always), and most importantly self-defence)))In general on the box I took about half a year and have never regretted that I started to go

As for me I like boxing a lot. I like to watch it. I think that there is no reason for making it illegal. Yes, it causes injuries. But every sport causes injuries, except chess, actually. So, forbidding boxing is the same as forbidding football or swimming. It does not mean that I would ever let someone punch me. But if people do it, building sportive career in the sphere of boxing, this person knows what the consequences of this sport are. They know about it and they are ready to risk, so everythig is okay. If you don't like it, don't do it and don't watch boxing at all.

It is not easy to answer such a question. On one side a lengthy talk about the benefits of sport in general and boxing in particular. However, applying the situation to yourself, begin to think very differently. Just remember that boxing is a sport very traumatic. No offense to boxers, but the constant blows to the head (though not strong) for a long time do not contribute to the improvement of the brain.Requires only the desire, tenacity and determination.
