Yes, I prefer to know what is happening around and all over. I read news in Internet because I do not like watching TV. I think it is important to know political and economical situation not just in your flat, but in the world too.

I can not say I am a fan and know everything happening, but I do not miss the main things all over the world and in my country. I prefer to know them , to understand the main things, not to get infromation from others, but to create my own opinion,

Well, following the news allows you to have exciting, enriching conversations with your friends and colleagues. It improves your ability to chat, if you will. The more you read the better world-view perspective you might get, assuming you don't stick to news from a single source (i.e., Fox News).

I always watch the news. In addition, not only about my country, I am trying to find out what new are happening in our world) We live on one planet. So, we need to know what is happening around. Of course, sometimes I have the feeling that I am living in some little box. But maybe it's because my work tired me too much) In any case, when I look at what is happening in our world, I'm in shock! Especially the situation with Ukraine just killed me! I really hope that things will get better as soon as possible! In any case, I have very high hopes for it! So we will see ;)

Always. I like to watch CNN (on direcTV) - on satellite they have an interactive option that allows you to watch the live broadcast in the upper part of the screen, while you scroll down different options in the menu to read up to date articles about everything from business news to current events to entertainment. CNN - easily the best way to stay informed of the world around you.I also read articles in the Internet , so I can know information not only on tv but from people`s opinion and experience. I try not to be zombie and bielive everything they say, so I sometimes chek info.

Many people also prefer BBC World News because it provides more International news stories and seems to be more balanced. They also, cover stories in more detail and some stories that aren't mentioned on CNN, etc... I like keeping up on British politics too. BBC is far better they really don't have an axe to grind on domestic issues. They can be a bit off on foreign affairs with a tilt toward european interests but that is to be expected. So many think that BBC is better than any US News agency. Hands down. Punditry is a side dish on BBC and on US news channels it is the main course. BBC reports more than comments.

Yes,I think it is important to know what's happening all over the world. I trust the information they get from local TV news stations to a greater degree than any other source of news

I try to follow the world news, but to tell the truth, now I am trying to avoid political news, because they make me depressed and frustrated. Wars, conflicts, crisis....I take it all very close to heart. I do not understand what wars for. Why cannot people live in peace and make decisions without weapon and without victims among simple people. So many children became orphans, so many mothers will never see their sons again, so many young wives are now widows.... It is the biggest unjustice ever, I cannot control my emotions when I look at it.
