Besides being a tasty, warming, caffeine-free pick-me-up, herbal tea has lots of wonderful health benefits. From soothing a troubled tummy to easing insomnia and calming a troubled mind, herbs have all sorts of healing powers. Drinking herbal tea can also be a great source of vitamins and minerals.
Do you like herbal drinks? Do you use them often? how do you think are they more useful them taking some meds while being ill?

Rooibos (red tea) is great. It has a natural vanilla-like flavor, it's naturally caffeine free, and it contains all the antioxidant power green tea does. Only white tea is superior in that dept.
Otherwise, some excellent ones:
Chamomile - VERY good for upset stomach, bedtime (helps you remain asleep if you wake up alot), and general nervouness. Add ginger for a superior stomach soother.
Mint - good for digestion as well as sore throat; good for allergy sufferers.
Chai (spice tea from ginger, cinnamon, cardamom, peppercorns, and clove) - Excellent tonic in general, very warming and superior for digestion and sore throat (even better than mint).

There are lots and lots of herbs that you can make tea from: Peppermint, raspberry leaves, thyme, St John's wort, sage, chamomile, linden flowers, nettle, chrysanthemum, rooibos, daisy, bamboo, hibiscus... Each has its own taste so a general description is rather impossible. Herbal tea has lots of wonderful health benefits, Herbal teas as thyme, peppermint and ginger have greater therapeutic virtues.

I also tried herbal teas. I can not say anything bad about it. But at the same time, I can not say too many good things. Maybe I'm just a skeptic in my life, but I do not think it can really bring a lot of benefit to you. For me, much better to drink what I want. Because I want to enjoy this life. And if the coffee is much tastier herbal teas, I'll drink it. I think it is a choice for each of us in our lives. So, all this all individual in any case. Also, I know that our world is really a lot of different herbs. And every medicinal herb has special properties. If you do not know it all, it is better not to use the herbs thoroughly.
