Love is a pretty powerful drug. When you feel it, you really feel it. It can suspend time, making the whole world seem still except for you two. It feeds you more than any nourishment; you feel full in the presence of love.
Love is when you die and then you are reborn over and over again because of little things - his sight, his voice, his touch. You are ready to give him all without asking about anything from him, without expecting, without hoping. It is enough for you just to be near him, to tal to him. You may know few things about him but these few things are enough to make your world spin around him all the time. He is a reason you wake up in the morning, he is a reason of every breath you make, he is a sense of every single moment of your life, he is the sun lighting up the world.
Love is when you can't fall asleep because reality if finally better than your dreams. Love is undescribable. There is no fathoming the power of love, it is so strong. People can never tell what love feels like, because most likely that person has never experience true love. Love is something that one person really doesn't expirience unless it is true. When you fall in love it is so hard to fall out.
Love is every feeling in the world tied into one joyous word.
To me, true love is when you can completely be yourself around another person in good times and bad. It's loving each other's differences and appreciating them exactly as they are. Love is the feeling that something is missing when you are apart and the realization that everything seems so much better when you are together.Love… I believe this word gets tossed around more than it should. It's more than just a simple word and can have a lot of meanings. Just to name a few: trust, commitment, best friends, communication, willingness, arguments and tenderness. Love is caring for someone else deeply and unconditionally. Love is being motivated to be the best version of yourself that you can possibly be because you are so passionate about the other person.
The answer remains elusive in part because love is not one thing. Love for parents, partners, children, country, neighbour, God and so on all have different qualities. Each has its variants – blind, one-sided, tragic, steadfast, fickle, reciprocated, misguided, unconditional. At its best, however, all love is a kind a passionate commitment that we nurture and develop, even though it usually arrives in our lives unbidden. That's why it is more than just a powerful feeling. Without the commitment, it is mere infatuation. Without the passion, it is mere dedication. Without nurturing, even the best can wither and die.
Love means giving in to an awesome power that brings two people together in the craziest ways. It means waiting, sometimes for a long time, for the stars to align. It means persevering through horrible dates and dull chats in line at the coffee house until you get your turn with it. It means surrendering control to a greater force and staying along for the ride.Sometimes love means disappointment. It means broken hearts and red teary eyes. It means taking a shot on someone and being let down. It means learning the hard way that you can’t make someone love you.
I suppose that definitions of love may be endless. For every person love is something special and unforgettable. There is a statement "Love means that you accept a person with all their failures, stupidities, ugly points and nonetheless you see perfection". I completely agree with these words, because we love a person not for their advantages or disadvantages but for the fact that they live in this world. To love for me is equal to the verb "to make happy", only together people may build real happiness and enjoy it for the rest of their lives. Of course, love is like something magical, it can not be measured by social status or money. Love and be loved! :)
I think that love is more than just acceptance, martyrdom... love is the answer to so many questions. it is not just a feeling... it's doing your best without thinking you're the best, giving the other what they need even if it could mean your poverty... it's having the joy amidst all the hardships you might encounter in trying to love. once it's given, you'll receive it back (maybe in another form) however long it takes.. Also love is measured by the children that when they are young that show respect for their parents . Love is the child that listens to the instrution of his mother and father. Love is the child that takes the hand of an aging parent that no longer can do for themselves . Love is the child that pushes the wheelchair of their aging parent and talking to them ,and love is the child that sits by the bedside of their parent and calms their fears and wipes away their tears .
As for me, love is something that makes us happier, better, softer, and stronger, but at the same time weaker with a person to whom we feel affection. Love is strange, and cruel feeling, which makes us helpless before our beloved. I can't live without this feeling.
This is perhaps the most intimate feeling that a person can experience in relation to another person. Love - an irresistible attraction to another person, the desire to be with him, to care for and protect, to sacrifice themselves for the sake of a loved one - and at the same time does not feel dependent, be inwardly free, be yourself. Love is impossible without mutual respect, caring, loyalty, responsibility.True love is given to know not every one of us - after only a few are willing to deeper understanding of love and constant work hard to maintain its strength over the years. As a rule, a person refers to love in varying degrees, selfishly enjoying only positive emotions of this feeling, and when love is faced with the inevitable obstacles - rejects it. :) :)
