media

I do not think that people really believe to all what media says to them. There are many kinds of media, you know. And most of people choose television and life news. I do understand why they do it, the main news are told there. Other people choose radio, newspapers or magazines. As for me I adore internet and always use it every time I need some information. Either the news or online movies, or social sites… I love internet for the connection. It makes the distance small or even unnoticeable. Emailing, or face book communication, I like all of it.

Even when people reject the news and media itself as the source of truth they are still being manipulated by it because the simple truth is that news frames the daily conversation and sets the broad parameters within which most subjects will be discussed. This is why very rich men with a particular political agenda love nothing more than owning key newspaper outlets - as part of a hegemonistic project. For example in the UK, for example, it is very common for the Daily Mail to be wheeled out at others' morning editorial conferences as it sets the populist news line each day.

Beliving media is up to every

Beliving media is up to every person, but not for me. I understand that if the news would be boring nobody watched them an the channel raiting will fall down. So the more terrifying story they tell the more people watch it. There was a period for 5 or 6 years when i didn't watch the TV at all and the life was really better) No depressive news, no murders and dying people in Africa. I understand that it's not the way of escaping from real problems. But the media exaggerate a lot and too much sometimes!

You know technically we can

You know technically we can never believe the media truly. They will do anything, twist the story so that it gets the maximum coverage and attention of the people.

A simple picture of a military man holding a gun on one hand and giving water to his comrade using the other hand can be shown in so many ways. It can show just the comrade- dying. It can show only the gun- symbolizing a shooting. Or it can just show him giving water. In a way, we can never really believe what the media always says.
