I think that all people are materialistic to some extent--when you have the ability to buy things such as nice clothes, electronics, cars, jewelry etc....
But....there are the ones who value bought items above family and friends and they are blind and selfish.
But, there are also the ones who work hard for the sake of money so they can buy nice things for their family...I think thats kinda nice---as long as they dont sacrifice time spent on working than on loved ones

There are so many greedy people out there. They are arrogant, especially some rich celebrities. They don't want to share or remember a time when they use to be poor and know what it's like to have very little. People are only concerned with themselves because that's satisfying. The world does not evolve around nobody,we are all in this to help each other out but hey,If you don't need my help,I won't bother you but It's okay to help a little. Small things make a big difference. The thing with Greedy people is that they take advantage of it in a bad way and don't appreciate what's in front of them. Some people go to bed praying what they wish they could have like on Christmas. There is more bad than Good and Natural resources provides enough to satisfy every person's need's but not every person's greed.

all people have their right to be mercantile or not to be. i do not think that somebody should condemn or criticize somebody. and i agree that all we in sume dergee are mercantile. because nobody can live today without money, money makes our life better and easier. for someone money is the way to live and without money they can not live. it's normal. everyone has it's own priorities in life

If we think deeply on the question, what is money, we will see that the money represent and symbolize something more than money, they symbolize something else.
Money is the physical embodiment of the first male qualities, and secondly, the lack of attention and time from parents, the embodiment of love. It turns out that money is associated with male power, male qualities and oddly enough with love.Money is the external manifestation of internal processes that occur within us. Money we can easily see and notice that you will not tell about what is inside our unconscious.
For example, lack of money says about specific issues and fears of man, we should address them and not to dream, how to make more money, reflecting on the external causes of failure.

I think, mercantelism can be cured, but only in a radical way. If you want to show people that money is not the most important things in life, you need to show them people, who really don't have the most important things - kids in orphanage, who have no moms, people in oncology centers who keep smiling even if they know that they have no more than a couple of days to live, disable people, for whom to walk a couple of meters is already a huge win, lonely elderly people, whose children and grandchildren left them, homeless people, whose happiness is just eating and sleeping. And then a mercantile person will understand everything.

It's a person that is concerned more about physical stuff rather than the soul. As far as a relationship goes you want to steer clear away from these types of people because the truth is they don't give a crap about you. Neither, it doesn't own you or you don't actually own it. You are just sinning for it because you desire it.

you seem like such a sweetheart and by the sounds of it he doesnt deserve someone like you. my opinion would be to find someone that appreciates you and looks at love the same way you do. you need someone that loves with all they have and not be so materialistic about things. you seem like one of the sweetest guys so you definitely deserve someone that is going to appreciate everything you do (: good luck darling

Fighting over money is one of the four horsemen of the divorcealypse, of course, and very few couples escape disagreement completely. But the common wisdom has been that problems arise when couples have differing attitudes toward money, or, in many cases, when they have a sheer lack of cash.So why is the love of money so bad for domestic contentment? I have two suggestions. The desire to have stuff may cause materialists to burn through their marital funds, thus causing tension in the marriage. Secondly, i theorizes, making pots of money and spending it takes a lot of time, effort and focus, leaving less of all of that for the relationship. [Materialists] seek happiness in possessions, not people, This means they put less time and energy into making their marriage a success.

First of all, from the beginning, I dd not understand your question. Then I found this: Many people have mercantile dreams of opening a store where they can sell things they love and interact with people in their community. Sometimes, however, the word mercantile has negative connotations. Exploiting factory workers, polluting the environment, wasting natural resources? All these reflect the dark side of the mercantile pursuit of profit. So, if talk about the second one, I think that this is the side of a person with which you can fight if you love him.
