multivitamins for men

I take whatever men's multi is on sale, but there seems to be a lot of research lately indicating that multivitamins are unnecessary if you eat a decent diet.
Even worse, some studies show that multi-vitamins are linked to serious health problem such as prostate cancer.

Could vitamins do more harm than good? Experts advise that if you eat well, vitamins are unnecessary, and therefore a waste of money. Don’t simply assume you or someone you love needs to take daily vitamins or supplements. Don’t make decisions after quickly scanning pill bottle labels in the neighborhood drugstore. Instead, do what you know you’re supposed to do, and ask your doctor for advice.

vitamin F is the raw material for the production of the "good" cholesterol, which ensures the normal amount of seminal fluid, and health of cell membranes, and sufficient testosterone levels. We can say that it is vitamin F does from the usual macho guy. :P :P :P

In the study of benefits and harms of multivitamins on the human body was used large doses of vitamins, and we are talking about individual vitamins and not on their property. What is the impact of multivitamin complexes on human health is still poorly investigated. Most likely, just one pill a day will not bring any harm, but the benefits do not have to wait, the only winners are the producers of this "panacea" in the bubble. B) B) B)
In those cases, when there is a positive effect from taking vitamin complexes, it is associated with auto-suggestion. The placebo effect was so contagious that even among the scientists who conducted the study vitamin preparations, there were those who, knowing the futility of taking these supplements, believed that they should be taken at least for this effect.

I like to break down multivitamins into two broad categories: whole-food derived (found in natural, whole foods) and synthetic (created in laboratories). Without getting too technical, it is important to understand that just because something has been synthesized in a laboratory doesn’t necessarily mean it is not the same as what is found in nature. However, it is often different – for instance, synthetic Vitamin E is structurally unique from that of natural Vitamin E.

With both types of vitamin on the market, the argument against using synthetic – which include chemical distillates – is that they are not recognized and used by the body the same way vitamins from whole foods are. In research on scurvy (a disease defined by a Vitamin C deficiency), for example, it was found that whole foods containing Vitamin C quickly eliminated the illness while ascorbic acid (the distillate) supplementation had little effect. Whole food vitamins (in their highest quality form) contain the vitamin complexes as they exist in nature, and are theoretically recognized by the body as whole foods.

Multivitamin pills contain many vitamins and minerals which we often lack from our own diets. The average American's diet is missing many of these essential chemicals. These vitamins and minerals are essential for optimal bodily functioning.Free radicals cause a lot of damage in our bodies, and two of the most important anti-oxidants are vitamins C and E. We can get enough of these vitamins if we eat properly, but so many of us don't. If we drink soda or coffee all day, and eat very little fruit, we will probably be deficient in vitamin C without taking a multivitamin supplement. Vitamin E can be found naturally in nuts -- especially almonds -- but many of us avoid them because of the fat content, even though they contain the "good" fats. This vitamin too is a powerful anti-oxidant. Vitamin E is very important for good skin and hair. There are many other examples of vitamins and minerals you may be missing in your diet, which a multivitamin pill would solve. In the winter, especially if you live in the northern latitudes, you can't get enough vitamin D from the sun. You need to get it from your diet or from a supplement.

Today taking multivitamins are important because we all are living in the un healthy world but we must try to
eat healthy food not junk food. If we all ate as we should, none of us would require multivitamins. However that's generally not the case with the average diet. "Eating pretty well" is not exactly eating as you ought to
