Many people love pizzas nowadays! I often see people order for extra cheese, pepperoni, or sausage.... All of that are quite high in calories & fat....
The High fat toppings are also high in sodium.... Some restaurants promotes more toppings, bigger pizzas, or extra cheese just for a few more cents, learn to ignore the promotion, You'll pay much more when you're trying to get rid of the effects of the extra calories.
Whether pizza is healthy or not is really determined by the quality of ingredients used & the choice of cheese – full fat or skim milk.
Pizza is one the most common foods in the United States at least and personally I never met anyone who don't enjoy pizza. The sauce, toppings and the combination of the dough makes it delicious. Tons of pizza shops all over and it will never stop so basically its in our face each and every day so we will continue to love pizza.but seriously pizza is just the perfect food and there is soooo many different styles: New York, deep dish, thin crust, thick crust, etc. If you don't like pizza you are just plain missing out on life.
Only two things I do not want on/near my pizza. Anchovies and banana peppers. Other than that, pile it on! :P :P :P My love is Double cheese and double pepperoni, on a tomato base :P
Personally I adore pizza probably as well as the vast majority of people around the globe, but it becomes completely inedible as soon as olives are there. I hate them to a large extend and it's the worst ingredient that can ever be included to such a gorgeous food like pizza. As for the other ones, I like everything, especially cheese in big quantities. Yummy :)
Pizza is one of my most favourite dishes. I like it with different kinds of toppings such as pickles, sausage, cheese, pineapple, mushrooms. I think there isn't anything I wouldn't like to have on my pizza. The only thing I don't like when they use burnt dough to cook my pizza. One day I used to get such kind of pizza in one of our local pizza cafe. It was really disgusting and has spoilt a little bit my romantic dating with one guy, because we couldn't eat even a piece of this pizza.. Fortunately, they had a nice coffee and it made up the pizza's bad taste. We also ordered a small cheesecake instead of pizza and could continue our lovely dating.
I think its because its a very versatile food with any combination of toppings available. Meat lovers, veggies, BBQ chicken, Fruit Pizza, and so on. Also its available to almost all classes of society, so its affordable and easy to make and feeds alot of people at the same time.
Think about this: You don't like Sausage and Ham? Go Pepperoni. Don't like sauce? Get your pizza sauceless. Want it on wheat bread dough instead? Go for it. Just so many combinations, one of them is almost bound to be the right choice for all the different tastes out there.
The comment of this guy really shocked me , coz my God, who desnt like pizza??? here is it : "I dislike pizza for various reasons. It wasn't so bad when I first started it. I absolutely loved pizza but now after years and yrs of finding it everywhere I go, I have started to dislike it. Main reason would be the bread itself, it's so hard, you just keep chewing the hard lump. This can overwhelm anyone. Another thing is, if you are hungry and you over eat it, two things can go horribly wrong- first, the hard bread would hurt your stomach and the pizza itself will make you uncomfortably nauseous.
I like pizza only when it is super thin, very soft and there is a lot of gooey warm flow (non smelling) cheese on top of it - but this one is kinda gourmet that's not very cheap or low calories, so I avoid it most of the times. Also I cannot handle a lot of toppings on pizza."
I just cannot stand one type of pizza. Chicago Thin Crust. The Chicago thin crust is crispier and crunchier than the New York style and normally cut into squares (or tavern cut) rather than diagonal slices. The Quad City area, a group of five cities between Iowa and Illinois, has developed a variation of the Chicago thin crust which uses a spicy sauce, large amounts of meat, and is cut into strips or squares. I do not why, but I do not like it at all, I will better eat the salad than I will eat the slice of it. And also I think it is much better to eat the salads that pizza. They are healthier.
Onions.. I don't like it on every meal, and I hate too much spicy pizza. Green peppers, they get into every orifice, tainting it with their vile taste, even after they had been picked off. Green peppers, onions, tuna, and anything with tentacles are right out. As the matter of fact, I'm a huga pizza lover, but under the circumstances there are some elements in pizza which don't appeal to me, as they're not at all delicious and attractive. In fact, the idea of what should be included to pizza can be astimated as kind of personal preference, but of course, we shouldn't judge people by their food preferences as well.
