Walking is useful. Any physical activity is very useful. I like walking in the streets and more I like to walk in the forest. I think that when you stay at home and do not know what to do, you`d better to walk along the streets and in the forest. this is healthy and interesting,. I like to walk with my friends and to talk about different things. This is the same as the cafe but you do not need to waste a lot of money.

i dont want to be demotivating but walking wont actually lose you any weight, you might sweat a little but also it will increase your appetite which means even MORE weight on
I used to run every day for 10 kms for years(till i buckled my knees as i used to almost never take days off and recover) and i can tell you that unless you are running at least 7 kms a day (with days off for recovery) you wont lose any fat
As for walking and transportation and apart from walking and health, walking also has many other overt and covert positive effects. It is a good solution for reducing the usage of vehicles and, as a result, reducing traffic jam, car accident, fuel consumption, air and noise pollution, waste of oil resources and cost/money.

In my opinion, walking has a number of advantages. Firstly, while walking you can discover the new places in your city/town. By the way, have you had any recent experience of such kind of observation, guys? Just try it and you will be shocked how many miraculous places there are in the city you thought you knew well ;) But, nevermind. Secondly, walking really can be used as a kind of sport activity but only in case if you make some other sports e.g. jogging, boxing, fitness, bodybuilding and so on. If you walk, for example, 5-10 miles a day, then of course you will feel the result but everything depends on the aim you seek for. And, thirdly (it's important!) walking has really deep calming effect. That's pretty useful characteristic as we all face different problems during the day and sometimes it's really hard to calm down. But the good new is that walking can help you with this! Just try to forget for some time about public transport or your car or whatever you use for getting to your workplace and walk! You will feel much more better, I guarantee that ;)
